In Friday's league game, the Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) football team overcame the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC), by a tally of 35-26.

In their next game, the Blue Flame battle the Berea Bulldogs (Greenville, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 game, on Friday, September 27. Pickens will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 63-0 league loss to Greer (Greer, SC).
