Texas High School Football - Tarkington loses to Hardin
September 20, 2024: Cleveland, TX 77327 Hardin Hornets (Hardin, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX), 27-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Hardin advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Orangefield (Orangefield, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a 3A-1 Region III District 10 battle on Friday, September 27. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Orangefield won 28-7 in their recent non-league battle against St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA)
The Longhorns now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crockett for a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. Tarkington will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-14 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
