September 20, 2024: Kensington, KS 66951 The Hill City Ringnecks football squad scored 54 points and limited the host Thunder Ridge Longhorns to 6 in the Ringnecks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Ringnecks now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rawlins County for a Northwest Kansas (8 Man) test on Friday, September 27. Hill City will clash with a Buffaloes squad coming off a 42-24 league win over Trego (WaKeeney, KS). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Thunder Ridge drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Linn (Linn, KS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Twin Valley (8 Man) test on Friday, September 27. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-3. Linn lost 46-0 in their recent non-league test against Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS)
