Connecticut High School Soccer - Rocky Hill Country Day toppled by St. Thomas More
September 20, 2024: Oakdale, CT 06370 St. Thomas More Chancellors (Oakdale, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Rocky Hill Country Day Mariners (East Greenwich, RI), 5-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Thomas More moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Chancellors travel to Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT) to clash with the Centaurs in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Centaurs come into the test with a record of 1-4.
The Mariners now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeler for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 25. Rocky Hill Country Day will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to St. Luke's (New Canaan, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.
