Greenville Lions (Greenville, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Greenville improves its record to 18-10 on the season. The Lions host Anna (Anna, TX) to encounter the Coyotes in a 5A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, September 24. The Coyotes go into the test with a record of 12-17. Anna lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Melissa (Melissa, TX)

The Bearcats now own a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a 5A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, September 24. Sherman will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 20-12.
