Connecticut High School Football - Glastonbury crushed by Southington
September 20, 2025: Glastonbury, CT 06033 Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT), 34-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Southington improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Blue Knights travel to Hall/Conard (West Hartford, CT) to play the Warchiefs in a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. The Warchiefs go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Guardians now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Danbury for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Glastonbury will meet a Hatters squad coming off a 32-6 non-league win over Hamden (Hamden, CT). The Hatters record now stands at 1-0.
