Massachusetts High School Soccer - Chelmsford toppled by North Reading
September 20, 2025: North Reading, MA 01864 North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Chelmsford Lions (North Chelmsford, MA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, North Reading improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Newburyport (Newburyport, MA) to play the Clippers in a Cape Ann bout on Monday, September 22. The Clippers come into the game with a record of 2-3. Newburyport won 2-1 in their recent league game against Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School (Hathorne, MA)
The Lions (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA). The Indians come into the game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Billerica Memorial by Westford Academy (Westford, MA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
