New York High School Soccer - Proctor knocks off Vernon-Verona-Sherrill
September 20, 2025: Verona, NY 13478 The Proctor Raiders soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils to 0 in the Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Raiders now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Whitesboro for a TVL West bout on Thursday, September 25. Proctor will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill moves to 1-2 on the season. The Red devils travel to Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY) to face the Golden Knights in a TVL East contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Golden Knights enter the contest with a record of 0-1.
