In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Potosi Chieftains volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Albany Comets.

The Chieftains (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against River Ridge (Patch Grove, WI). The Timberwolves come into the Six Rivers - Western challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, River Ridge beat Cassville (Cassville, WI), 3-0, in a league test.

The Comets now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barneveld for a Six Rivers - Eastern test on Tuesday, September 23. Albany will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Monona Grove (Monona, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 12-6.
