September 20, 2025: Wheeling, IL 60090 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) and the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), observed Wheeling's volleyball team top Elk Grove by a count of 2-0.
The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Round Lake was knocked off by Lakes (Lake Villa, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Grenadiers encounter the Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 20. Elk Grove will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Skyhawks go into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, IL).
