In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Hoover Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Sunnyside Wildcats.

The Patriots (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against McLane (Fresno, CA). The Highlanders come into the CMAC/NYL battle with a 2-16 record. In their last battle, McLane lost by Minarets (O'Neals, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
