The Glass Hilltoppers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Alleghany Cougars to 1 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Liberty Christian for a Seminole outing on Tuesday, September 24. Glass will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Alleghany drops to 10-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA) to clash with the Fighting Blues in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21.
