In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Covington Trojans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos.

The Trojans (17-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cascade (Clayton, IN). The Cadets enter the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Cascade was tipped by Speedway (Speedway, IN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bronchos meet the Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Lafayette Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record.
