The East Mecklenburg Eagles volleyball squad (Charlotte, NC), dropped 3-1 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC)

With the win, Weddington improves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to battle the Spartans in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Spartans enter the contest with a record of 12-10. Sun Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC)

Next, the Eagles battle the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 7A/8A battle, on Thursday, September 25. East Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Wolves go into the battle with a 4-12 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
