Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wreckers face the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Staples will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Blue Wave enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT).

The Warriors now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Danbury for a Fairfield County challenge on Tuesday, September 27. Wilton will face a Hatters team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Warde (Fairfield, CT). The Hatters record now stands at 2-3.
