With the win, Elizabethtown upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Panthers host Central (Louisville, KY) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 3A District 3 test on Friday, September 29. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 2-4. Central won 26-17 in their recent non-league test against Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY)
With the loss, Shelby Valley drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY) to confront the Hawks in a 2A District 8 test on Thursday, October 5. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 5-1. Pike County Central won 28-18 in their recent non-league test against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY)
