September 23, 2024: Leonardtown, MD 20650 Fans at Monday's league contest between the Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) and the visiting La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD), observed Leonardtown's volleyball team top La Plata by a count of 3-0.
The Raiders (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Westlake was knocked off by Patuxent (Lusby, MD), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Warriors battle the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland contest, on Wednesday, September 25. La Plata will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Chargers enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northern (Owings, MD).
