September 24, 2022: Southington, CT 06489 Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hatters face the Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Wednesday, September 28. Danbury will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Newington (Newington, CT).
The Blue Knights now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hall for a Central Connecticut - Central challenge on Wednesday, September 28. Southington will face a Warriors team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
