New York High School Soccer - Yonkers overwhelmed by Lakeland
September 24, 2022: Shrub Oak, NY 10588 The Lakeland Hornets smashed the visiting Yonkers Bulldogs soccer squad by a margin of 9-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Hornets now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Peekskill for a Conference 2 League E match on Wednesday, September 28. Lakeland will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Yonkers drops to 0-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hamilton (Elmsford, NY) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league match on Friday, October 7. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 6-3.
