Ohio High School Soccer - Botkins toppled by Greenon
September 24, 2024: Botkins, OH 45306 Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Botkins Trojans (Botkins, OH), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Greenon moves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH) to meet the Panthers in a Ohio Heritage North test on Thursday, September 26. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 9-2. Fairbanks won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Grandview Heights (Columbus, OH)
The Trojans now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. John's for a Western Ohio test on Thursday, September 26. Botkins will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 4-6.
