September 24, 2025: Cameron, NC 28326 The Union Pines Vikings football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting South Johnston Trojans to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harnett Central for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Union Pines will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, South Johnston drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to meet the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Southern Lee lost 28-0 in their recent non-league test against Triton (Erwin, NC)
