Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Portage Indians (Portage, IN) and the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), observed Portage's volleyball team top Hanover Central by a count of 3-1.

The Indians (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against La Porte (La Porte, IN). The Slicers enter the Duneland contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, La Porte was knocked off by Crown Point (Crown Point, IN), 3-0, in a league contest.
