Missouri High School Volleyball - Liberty over Ava

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Liberty Eagles volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Ava Bears.

With the win, Liberty advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Southern Missouri RUSH (Springfield, MO) to face the in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The go into the test with a record of 3-6. Southern Missouri RUSH lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Lamar (Lamar, MO)

The Bears now sport a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Mountain Grove for a Class 3 District 11 challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Ava will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Houston (Houston, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 4-8.
