Ohio High School Volleyball - Valley Christian overwhelmed by Southern

Southern Indians (Salineville, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Valley Christian Eagles (Youngstown, OH), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Southern improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Indians host River (Hannibal, OH) to face the Pilots in a non-league test on Monday, September 29. The Pilots go into the test with a record of 7-8. River lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH)

Next, the Eagles play the East Palestine Bulldogs (East Palestine, OH) in a Eastern Ohio Athletic challenge, on Monday, September 29. Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to United (Hanoverton, OH).
