The Palmetto Mustangs held off the host Southside Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belton-Honea Path for a AAA Region 2 test on Thursday, September 28. Palmetto will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Powdersville (Greenville, SC). The Bears record now stands at 10-8.

The Tigers (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Hurricanes enter the AAA Region 2 test with a 18-1 record. In their last test, Wren held off Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC), 3-0, in a league test.
