Oregon High School Soccer - Tigard nudges Sunset
September 26, 2024: Tigard, OR 97224 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Tigard Tigers (Tigard, OR) and the visiting Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), saw Tigard's soccer squad hold off Sunset by a count of 2-1.
The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sherwood (Sherwood, OR). The Bowmen enter the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Sherwood was edged by Grant (Portland, OR), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Apollos battle the Century Jaguars (Hillsboro, OR) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 1. Sunset will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR).
