September 26, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23462 Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Princess Anne Cavaliers (Virginia Beach, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Maury improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Commodores host Granby (Norfolk, VA) to face the Comets in a Eastern test on Monday, September 30. The Comets go into the test with a record of 7-4. Granby won 3-0 in their recent league test against Manor (Portsmouth, VA)
The Cavaliers now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cox for a Beach test on Tuesday, October 1. Princess Anne will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Salem (Virginia Beach, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-3.
