The Benedictine Cadets ran past the visiting St. Christopher's Saints football squad by a count of 35-21 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cadets now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gonzaga for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Benedictine will face a Eagles team coming off a 31-24 non-league loss to Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

The Saints (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA). The Blue Devils go into the VISAA Virginia Prep challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Fork Union Military Academy lost by Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA), 49-12, in a non-league challenge.
