The Hornets now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hermleigh for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 7 (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 10. Highland will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 58-0 non-league loss to Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Blackwell drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Panther Creek (Valera, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4.
