Franklin Lions (Franklin, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Legacy School of Sport Sciences Titans (Spring, TX), 49-48 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Franklin advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Lions host Troy (Troy, TX) to play the Trojans in a 3A-1 Region III District 11 battle on Friday, October 10. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 3-2. Troy won 46-45 in their recent non-league match against Maypearl (Maypearl, TX)

Coming up next, the Titans confront the Bishop Dunne Falcons (Dallas, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 10. Legacy School of Sport Sciences will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
