Illinois High School Soccer - Middleton knocks off Lake Forest Academy
September 26, 2025: Lake Forest, IL 60045 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Middleton Cardinals (Middleton, WI) and the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), saw Middleton's soccer squad prevail over Lake Forest Academy by a count of 4-0.
The Cardinals (13-0) will now prepare for their battle against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks enter the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Naperville Central tipped Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Caxys battle the Chicago University Maroons (Chicago, IL) in a Independent Schools battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Lake Forest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Maroons enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Belleville West (Belleville, IL).
