Oregon High School Football - Junction City thwarted by Hidden Valley
September 27, 2024: Grants Pass, OR 97527 Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR), 21-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Hidden Valley improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Henley (Klamath Falls, OR) to play the Hornets in a 4A Special District 4 battle on Friday, October 4. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Henley won 37-36 in their recent non-league battle against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR)
The Tigers now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Marist for a 4A Special District 3 battle on Friday, October 4. Junction City will play a Spartans team coming off a 35-7 non-league win over Seaside (Seaside, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.
