In Friday's league match, the host Lincoln Leopards football squad scored a decisive 50-0 triumph over the Washington County Tigers.

The Leopards (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Rock Hills (Mankato, KS). The Grizzlies come into the Northern Plains (8 Man) match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Rock Hills was routed by Sylvan-Lucas (Sylvan Grove, KS), 60-12, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers meet the Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS) in a Twin Valley (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 4. Washington County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 56-6 league win over Lakeside (Downs, KS).
