Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH), 28-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Western Reserve advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH) to play the Eagles in a Firelands battle on Friday, October 4. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Monroeville won 71-0 in their recent league battle against New London (New London, OH)

The Flyers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host New London for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. St. Paul will play a Wildcats team coming off a 71-0 league loss to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
