Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Fairmont Senior moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Polar Bears travel to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to clash with the Buccaneers in a Big Ten outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Buccaneers go into the outing with a record of 4-8. Buckhannon-Upshur lost 6-0 in their recent league outing against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV)
