The Gering Bulldogs softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Polk County Slammers to 5 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adams Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. Gering will confront a Patriots team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 7-14.
