The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Van Vandals (Van, TX) and the visiting Canton Eagles (Canton, TX), observed Van's football squad bounce Canton by a count of 49-3.

The Vandals now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rusk for a 4A-2 Region II District 8 contest on Friday, October 6. Van will play a Eagles squad coming off a 76-48 league loss to Center (Center, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
