In Friday's non-league match, the host Tennessee Vikings football squad scored a good 42-13 victory over the Gate City Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the David Crockett Pioneers (Jonesborough, TN) in a 5A Region 1 match, on Friday, October 6. Tennessee will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
