The Laurens Raiders football team (Laurens, SC), was ripped 49-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Greer Yellow Jackets (Greer, SC)

The Yellow Jackets (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastside (Taylors, SC). The Eagles come into the AAAA Region 2 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Eastside trounced Emerald (Greenwood, SC), 35-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a AAAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, October 6. Laurens will meet a Warriors team coming off a 49-7 league win over Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.
