September 30, 2022: Smithsburg, MD 21783 The Smithsburg Leopards football team (Smithsburg, MD), was ripped 33-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD)
The Campers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern (Oakland, MD). The Rams come into the Western Maryland challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Southern trounced Hancock (Hancock, MD), 53-0, in a league challenge.
The Leopards now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clear Spring for a Washington County challenge on Friday, October 7. Smithsburg will meet a Blazers team coming off a 44-0 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 0-5.
