September 30, 2022: Springfield, PA 19064 Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA), 35-32 in a league test.
With the triumph, Springfield improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Conestoga (Berwyn, PA) to confront the Pioneers in a Central test on Friday, October 7.
