September 30, 2022: Elyria, OH 44035 Open Door Christian Patriots (Elyria, OH) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lake Center Christian Tiger (Hartville, OH), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves (Cleveland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 3. Open Door Christian will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Red Wolves enter the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Berkshire (Burton, OH).
The Tiger now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rootstown for a Portage Trail - County challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Lake Center Christian will confront a Rovers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Field (Mogadore, OH). The Rovers record now stands at 8-3.
