The Foard Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host North Lincoln Knights to 34 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory for a 3A Conference 51 contest on Friday, January 13. Foard will battle a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 56-27 league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 7-7.

The Knights (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes come into the 3A Conference 51 contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Hickory prevailed over West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 64-20, in a league contest.
