The Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) basketball crushed the host Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX), 67-40 in Friday's league bout.

The Trail Blazers now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Del Valle for a 5A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Americas will play a Conquistadores team coming off a 56-55 league win over El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 15-9.

With the loss, Hanks falls to 5-19 on the campaign. The Knights host Bel Air (El Paso, TX) to play the Highlanders in a 5A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Bel Air lost 48-44 in their recent league bout against Parkland (El Paso, TX)
