The Weslaco East Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Mercedes Tigers to 53 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 20-4 record. They play next when they host Harlingen South for a 5A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, January 14.
