The St. John Paul II Panthers basketball squad (Tallahassee, FL), was nudged 38-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Jefferson County Tigers (Monticello, FL)

With the victory, Jefferson County advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Liberty County (Bristol, FL) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 6-4.

The Panthers now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. St. John Paul II will meet a Seahawks squad coming off a 34-26 league win over Port St. Joe (Port St. Joe, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 9-3.
