The Valley Christian Defenders basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Ocean View Seahawks to 28 in the Defenders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Defenders now have a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Whittier Christian for a Olympic game on Tuesday, January 14. Valley Christian will confront a Heralds team coming off a 44-36 league win over Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA). The Heralds record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Ocean View falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA) to encounter the Argonauts in a Orange Coast challenge on Tuesday, January 14. The Argonauts come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Garden Grove lost 43-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA)
