The Rawlins County Buffaloes basketball squad (Atwood, KS), was nudged 52-46 in Friday's league battle with the host Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS)

With the victory, Wallace County advances its record to 8-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Greeley County (Tribune, KS) to meet the Jackrabbits in a Northwest Kansas battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Jackrabbits enter the battle with a record of 4-2. Greeley County lost 56-40 in their recent league battle against Quinter (Quinter, KS)

The Buffaloes now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triplains/Brewster for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Rawlins County will meet a Titans squad coming off a 57-21 league loss to Weskan (Weskan, KS). The Titans record now stands at 0-5.
