Colorado High School Basketball - Thompson Valley knocks off Severance

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Thompson Valley Eagles basketball team scored a good 48-40 win over the Severance Silver Knights.

The Eagles (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Loveland (Loveland, CO). The Red Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Loveland was topped by Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO), 59-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Silver Knights battle the Roosevelt Roughriders (Johnstown, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Severance will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Roughriders come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 70-43 non-league loss to Grandview (Aurora, CO).
