Utah High School Basketball - Westlake holds off Skyridge

January 10, 2025: Saratoga Springs, UT 84045

The Westlake Thunder basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Skyridge Falcons to 55 in the Thunder league triumph on Friday.

The Thunder now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lehi for a 6A Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 14. Westlake will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 62-52 league win over American Fork (American Fork, UT). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Skyridge falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Falcons host Lone Peak (Highland, UT) to confront the Knights in a 6A Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Knights go into the game with a record of 9-5. Lone Peak won 40-32 in their recent league game against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT)
